Video: Race to Finish — Year one with Nebraska Engineering's Figure 8 race team
Roaring engines and tight turns marked the high-octane debut of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Cornhusker Figure 8 Racing team this summer. Fueled by a passion for speed and mechanical ingenuity, the student-run club spent months in the Kiewit Hall garage planning, designing and transforming a 1980 Pontiac Firebird into a mud-slinging race machine.
