Finalists for dean of education and human sciences to visit campus

Selected through a national search, four finalists for the College of Education and Human Sciences dean position will visit the University of Nebraska–Lincoln between Feb. 18 and 27. 

The candidates will participate in multiple-day interviews with the college’s faculty, staff, students and a variety of stakeholders. The University of Nebraska­–Lincoln’s College of Education and Human Sciences is a one-of-a-kind college comprised of seven academic departments, with strong and important collaboration with the Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources. The college is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals, families, schools and communities and strengthening the relationships among them.

The dean is the chief academic and administrative officer of the college and will lead the strategic, programmatic, financial, fundraising and management operations that support the mission and vision of the college. The dean serves as the college's public voice, developing its reputation on the national and international stages, and within the profession. The dean reports directly to the executive vice chancellor and works with fellow deans and campus leaders in collaboration, support and commitment to the university.
