Genealogy Over Lunch will be hosting Joan Barnes, communications librarian, who recently experienced a major breakthrough in her research on her great-great-grandfather, a Nebraska plainsman, courtesy of familysearch.org’s labs at its next Zoom session at 11:30 a.m. April 17.
Barnes will discuss the search for Lewis Phillips, his interesting life, the resources used and the new tool that broke open her research. Registration is required.
Genealogy over Lunch is a University Libraries’ group designed to help individuals explore and organize family history. All students, faculty, emeriti and staff are welcome.
