The International Student and Scholar Office invites faculty and staff to take part in Dinner in a Nebraska Home, a tradition that brings Huskers together through food, culture and conversation.
By opening a home for an evening, participants give two to three international students the chance to experience life in Nebraska, enjoy a home-cooked meal and build meaningful connections beyond the classroom. During the years, these dinners have sparked meaningful friendships that often last well beyond the evening, leaving a lasting impact on both hosts and students alike.
Faculty and staff participants will:
- Attend a meet and greet at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the Louise Pound Hall Atrium
- Host a dinner for 2 to 3 international students in their home
- Complete a short online reflection afterward
