Are you passionate about building a stronger sense of community and belonging at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln? Do you have an idea for a group that could make a real impact? Dedicated individuals are needed to serve as anchors for the Fall NCLUDE sessions.
NCLUDE learning groups offer a unique opportunity to engage in candid conversations about community and belonging at Nebraska. These small groups are designed to foster deeper relationships and provide a space for introspection over the course of a semester. As an anchor, you'll pick a topic, help promote your group, and coordinate its meetings, holding space for intentional dialogue.
Each NCLUDE group meets six times over the course of the semester (virtually or in-person) for one-hour sessions, focusing on a particular topic of interest. Participants prepare for meetings through reading, journaling, or other forms of self-education, and discussions focus on collective reflection and how the material informs their personal and professional lives, emphasizing everyday actions to create a greater sense of belonging for all.
NCLUDE groups will be finalized by July 31. Registration will run through August and Fall NCLUDE sessions will begin in September.
Over the summer, NCLUDE is hosting two brainstorming sessions designed to help develop your group ideas and identify key topics for anchoring this fall. Your ideas are vital to NCLUDE's success. Come ready to collaborate, innovate, and make a difference! We can't wait to brainstorm with you
Join us for one of the following sessions:
- Session 1: 2-3 p.m., July 9 via Zoom
- Session 2: 1-2 p.m., July 24 in the Gaughan Center, Room 211
