Nebraska Athletics announced March 17 that it will donate all ticket proceeds from Nebraska's spring football game to aid Nebraska wildfire relief efforts.

Four major wildfires have burned more than 750,000 acres of land in central and western Nebraska. Governor Jim Pillen has issued an executive order to provide emergency relief.

"Nebraskans always step up in times of need, and we want to do our part to help our fellow Nebraskans affected by these wildfires," said Troy Dannen, Nebraska athletic director.

Additional donations can be made online. Donations will help provide support to Nebraska’s volunteer firefighters for equipment, resources and recovery efforts.

Nebraska's spring football game presented by FNBO is set for kickoff at 11 a.m. March 28. Tickets are on sale online.

General admission tickets are $5 through March 22. From March 23-27, ticket prices increase to $10. General admission tickets on the day of the spring game will be $20. Club tickets will be sold for $10 through March 22, before increasing to $20 the week of the game, and $30 on game day.
