
The Nebraska Women’s Leadership Network and the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women are inviting all alumnae, faculty, staff and students to kick off Women’s History Month with the Power of Husker Women: A Night of Celebration at 5:30 p.m. March 6 at the Wick Alumni Center.
The event will feature a panel including Shari Veil, dean of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications; Megan Elliott, Johnny Carson Endowed Director in Emerging Media Arts; and Elizabeth Herbin, student regent. The recipients of the Women of Service Awards will also be honored by Chancellor Rodney D. Bennett.
The cost to attend is $40 for alumnae, faculty and staff and $20 for students. Dinner and drinks are included with the reservation fee.
