Raikes School continues to grow, welcomes cohort of 44

A record 44 students have been selected to join the latest cohort of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management.

The 2025 cohort includes 31 students from Nebraska and 13 students from California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Virginia and Indonesia.

“We are so proud to welcome the newest members of Cohort 2025 to the Raikes School and Nebraska community,” said Adam Britten, the school’s director of recruitment and student success. “These remarkable students bring unique experiences and backgrounds from around the globe, and we look forward to supporting them in their incredible achievements ahead. The future is bright in Nebraska.”

The Raikes School offers an interdisciplinary education in computing, business and innovation for high-achieving students. The school builds future leaders for technology-driven industries through opportunities in and out of the classroom. For seven consecutive years, female-identifying students have made up more than 40% of Raikes School cohorts, well above the industry average in computing.
