The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Staff Senate will host district meetings from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 29. The meetings are designed to help staff members connect with colleagues, share concerns and build a more collaborative campus community.
Launched two years ago as part of the All-Staff Conference, district meetings have become a key way for staff to engage in conversation and foster a greater sense of belonging.
While the university’s pending budget reductions remain a pressing issue, the meetings are intended to address a wide range of topics affecting staff across campus.
The Staff Senate encourages participation from all staff members. The meetings offer opportunities to:
- Network: Connect with colleagues within your district and across departments.
- Address issues: Share feedback, ask questions and raise concerns in a supportive setting.
- Engage with senators: Meet your Staff Senate representatives and learn about their current initiatives.
Staff are encouraged to attend the meeting for their designated district. Locations are as follows:
- District 1 – Business and Finance: Nebraska Union, Regency B/C
- District 2 – Chancellor’s Office: Nebraska Union, Regency A
- District 3 – Academic Colleges: Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, Unity Room (Room 212)
