Jenny Dauer, assistant professor in science literacy in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s School of Natural Resources, has earned a National Science Foundation grant to study how human factors such as emotion, motivation and metacognition come into play in science classrooms.

Jenny Dauer, assistant professor of practice, stands across the street from Lazlo's in the Haymarket. The buliding — along with others around Lincoln — was designed and built by Dauer's great-great-grandfather, John G. Cordner. The building was originally called the Bennett Hotel.
