The Academic Planning Committee has submitted its input and recommendations on the university’s proposed $27.5 million budget reduction.

In an Oct. 31 message to campus, Chancellor Rodney D. Bennett thanked the committee for its careful review and the many faculty, staff, students and stakeholders who provided feedback throughout the process.

“I am grateful to the APC for their thoughtful work, and to the many members of our university community who contributed ideas and perspectives,” Bennett said. “Your engagement and input are essential as we navigate these decisions.”

The chancellor is reviewing the committee’s recommendations before finalizing the budget reduction plan.

The final plan is expected to be shared with the campus community in the coming weeks.
