Reptiles of Nebraska Night event is Oct. 23

The School of Natural Resources and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will host Reptiles of Nebraska Night, a free, family-friendly event showcasing the state’s native reptiles.

The event, which is in celebration of Nebraska Reptile Month, will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 23 in Hardin Hall.

Participants can experience hands-on reptile education, live animals and activity stations. Additional activities will include touch stations, coloring tables, turtle and snake-themed games, and educational booths highlighting the importance of these species in Nebraska’s ecosystems.

Food trucks will be available, and free parking will be available.
