Move-in week has reached a new milestone as Memorial Stadium becomes the vibrant heart of students returning to campus.
For the first time ever, the iconic stadium’s Loop at 14th and Vine streets served as the central drive-through check-in hub — creating a welcoming, efficient, and uniquely Nebraskan start to the academic year for more than 5,500 new and returning Huskers.
Families and students arrived amid the electric atmosphere of the stadium, and were greeted with welcome bags, hall assignments and friendly faces ready to guide them every step of the way. With movers unloading and delivering belongings directly to rooms, the process was easy, smooth and celebratory.
More than 350 volunteers from across faculty, staff and student groups supported this effort.
