A signature component of Francisco Souto's artwork, the pattern is an ode to Carlos Cruz-Diez, a fellow Venezuelan artist who ranks among the greatest artistic innovators of the 20th century. In this pattern, Souto features the yellow, blue and red of the Venezuelan flag, connecting his home nation with the Nebraska images above.
