More than 350 attended the Nov. 11, 2018 dedication of new Memorial Stadium plaques celebrating the World War I service and sacrifice of Nebraskans and University of Nebraska students. The memorial plaques are located by Gate 20 in East Memorial Stadium.

Nebraska's Memorial Stadium was built in the 1920s as a memorial to those who served in World War I. The university will celebrate a new WWI memorial in the stadium's east concourse on Nov. 11.
